A quarterly publication that took unexpected, interesting, funny and sometimes complicated stories and told them like you would to friends at the pub. My tenure as editor included building and managing a large contributing team across print and digital (including social and video.) I also did a bulk of the writing and interviewing, editing the final words, and producing shoots. Smith Journal was discontinued years ago when frankiepress was sold, but its sister publication, frankie magazine, is still thriving.
